This clip is a collaboration between Hunter New England Health, Desert Pea Media and the communities of Boggabilla and Toomelah
The video is focussed on a Hunter New England initiative around Healthy Skin Promotion within the two communities. The main focus is on our traditional bush medicine tree, the Eurah. It tells the story of how this medicine is used and how it was passed down through the generations. It is known colloquially as the ‘black fulla’s penicillin’ and has been a part of culture since time began.
